Aircell, a provider of in-flight Internet services, has announced that it will use LTE 4G technology for its next-generation of airborne Internet services. Aircell plans on deploying LTE so that passengers can enjoy features like high definition, interactive TV and multi-player gaming while flying.

Currently, the company offers its Gogo Internet service to commercial airlines such as American and Virgin America. Gogo offers full Internet access for users with WiFi enabled devices.
