FCC Flashes Sony Ericsson C902 Cyber-shot Cameraphone
The Sony Ericsson C902 recently passed the FCC’s approval process. Another candybar handset with the Cyber-shot branding, this handset is clad in all black and sports a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and face recognition technology. The C902 was shown off earlier this year at the 2008 Mobile World Congress.
The C902 also offers quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and Bluetooth connectivity. As with most of Sony Ericsson’s recent featurephones, the C902 offers multitasking, with a task switcher button on the front of the phone. A MemoryStick Micro (M2) card slot is hidden behind the back cover, and the handset also features support for Microsoft ActiveSync.
