Part of Lenovo’s ThinkVision family of monitors, the L190x ($379.99 direct) features a razor-thin bezel and a handful of business-friendly features, including a highly adjustable stand, IT management tools, and an integrated USB hub. Overall performance is outstanding on this 19-inch LCD, though gamers will want to steer clear of it because of its snail-like response rate.

Maintaining the familiar ThinkVision design theme, the L190x’s business-black finish coordinates with Lenovo’s ThinkCentre desktop and ThinkPad notebook lines, but it would look good wherever you put it. Extremely thin side bezels (0.3 inches) provide a sleek, streamlined look and are perfect for side-by-side monitor applications.

Along the lower bezel are five well-marked function buttons (including the power switch) that cycle through the various OSD (on-screen display) menu pages. Three of them are hot keys for adjusting the brightness level, choosing an input source, and invoking the auto-adjust function. The OSD provides access to a standard variety of image controls, including brightness and contrast, RGB color, and screen-position settings. You can also manually adjust the clock and phase settings if the monitor appears out of sync or displays vertical stripes.
